About Me
Welcome to my Portfolio!
My name is Brandon Feraud-Solorzano, and I am from Miami, FL. I have earned both my Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am a systems-oriented designer. I like turning messy, open-ended problems into clear requirements, testable decisions, and repeatable workflows. My work spans prototyping, digital simulation, and mechanical testing, and I’m most energized when I can take a concept from early sketches to a validated design.
My focus is on product design, with projects ranging from Clippy, a lecture desk extender for left-handed students, to Project Hephaesas, a Text-to-CAD framework built to speed up iteration. I’m interested in building innovative products that leverage emerging technologies, such as AI, to solve everyday problems.
Outside of engineering, I read biographies and curate playlists. I’m drawn to how people think, decide, and learn, and I hope to try to bring that same curiosity and perspective into how I approach engineering problems.
I’m currently looking for product design/mechanical design roles where I can build user-centered hardware and ship quickly.
